Cannot authenticate into Storefront server

Unable to authenticate into Receiver Storefront server. After clicking Log On, the following message appears: “Cannot complete your request. You can log on and try again, or contact your help desk for assistance.”

Event viewer shows the following error from Source Citrix Receiver for Web, Event ID 12: “There was a problem generating a store service token for the user from their primary authentication token…remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden.”

Cause

The issue is caused by a corrupt store service token.

Resolution

Uninstall and reinstall Receiver StoreFront so a new store service token is created.
