IE9 recenty visited websites

Hi guys,

Since the new IE9 the pull down menu of your recently typed URL’s are shortened to 5 URL’s. If you want your complete list of approx 13 URL’s back as it was in IE8 do then the following:

Disable welcome screen IE8/IE9

I don’t know about you, but I am so annoyed with this screen, mostly because it always pops out when I least expect it, for example, when I’m in the middle of a demo or a class, and even when I think it won’t appear, because that nasty designer has probably deliberately configured it in such a way that there’s a slight delay between the opening of the IE window, and the pop up welcome screen. Even more nagging, running through the welcome screen will then pop up a new IE tab, taking you to a web page that you do not want to be at, causing you to again waste even more time. IE9 release

Hi guys,

It’s has been a week now that IE9 was released to the web and available for download. But Microsoft revealed that the new Internet Explorer will be pushed to the windows clients (and servers) through Windows Update (or WSUS for business enviroments). So next tuesday be aware to look at a new Internet Explorer (if selected of course).

Out-of-band security bulletin from Microsoft

This is an advance notification of one out-of-band security bulletin that Microsoft is intending to release on January 21, 2010. The bulletin will be for Internet Explorer to address limited attacks against customers of Internet Explorer 6, as well as fixes for vulnerabilities rated ‘Critical’ that are not currently under active attack.
