Hotfix XA650R01W2K8R2X64028 for Citrix XenApp 6.5

For XenApp 6.5 Citrix has released a new hotfix which resolves the following issues:

  1. An internal race condition within picadm.sys can slow down servers and prevent them from accepting new connections.

  2. Servers might experience a fatal exception, displaying a blue screen, on picadm.sys.

  3. When updating a file located on a drive mapped outside of the session, the modified size of the file is not updated while using the GetFileSize () function in the session.

  4. Servers might experience a fatal exception, displaying a blue screen, on picadm.sys.

This hotfix replaces these hotfix issues:

  1. A deadlock in picadm.sys can cause servers to become unresponsive. Sessions already connected might disconnect and prevent servers from accepting new connections.

  2. Servers might experience a fatal exception, displaying a blue screen, on picadm.sys due to a memory leak.

  3. Opening files from a client-side USB device or network drives mapped into a XenApp session might result in corrupt files (zero kilobyte) when you reconnect to a disconnected session.
