When you are preparing for the 1Y1-A25 Engineering a Citrix Virtualization Solution beta exam Citrix has released a prep guide for this. you can download the prep guide here.

Seating for this beta is limited when you want to enter. There’s now fee (as it is a beta exam). more information about this exam can be found here.

As always you need to register for this exam on the Pearson Vue website.

For those who are going good luck and post an update here when you have done the exam if you like.

MCP Wallet cards

Just received the MCP Flash and it had a little article which stated that the wallet cards will be available as of October this year. Here is the article:

Citrix XenApp 6.5 beta exam **Updated**

Hi guys,

As of now you can register at PearsonVue for the Citrix XenApp 6.5 beta exam. Only thing you have to do is logon to the PearsonVue website, register as a user with your citrix ID (if you already have a citrix certification you have it) and register for the free exam (examcode 1Y1-A20). There is no need of a voucher.

I’ve registered for it and naturally searching for learning materials.

Overview retirement of MS Exams

First and foremost a reminder that exams 271 and 272 will be retiring at the end of the month and these exams award the Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) certification. If you are in progress to achieve this certification, you must take and pass both exams before June 30, 2011.

technet live

hi guys,

Attended yesterday the microsoft technet live event and i was impressed by the turnout and the in depth information of the sessions. I can recommend it to everybody to go next year. Really informative and good place to build new, and maintain, connections with people and businesses.

One new item was mentioned in the keynote was the public rc of sysyem center codename concero for july of this year.

Can’t wait to test that piece of software.
